Blue Knights Texas IX
The regular monthly chapter meeting was held Thursday, March 3, 2011.
The meeting was held at Jack & Dianne’s at 2309 North Frankford in Lubbock.
We have a new member, Kevin Cranfill who works for the Lubbock Police Department.
The Blue Ribbon Rally is coming up quick. Preparations are being made for selling food at the rally. All members are needed to help out in order to make this a successful fundraiser for our chapter. The day of the rally we need as many members as possible to be at the rally site to help out. Plan now to attend. The rally is Saturday, April 30th. If you can not attend the day of the rally, please help out in some way. We will need a few members to cook a roast. Get hold of Michael to see what else is needed done before the rally.
The design of the Travelers Patch has been decided on and will go into production soon. The cost will be determined later.
Kerrville trip (Hill Country) is April 7th, Thursday-Sunday. We are staying at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Kerrville. You can use the Blue Knights discount for Choice Hotels. The tentative departure time is 9:00 AM on Thursday. Meet at Chisum’s Travel Center on Slaton Highway.
Rio Grande Conference is May 19-22 in Granbury, Texas. Our members that are going are staying at the host hotel which is Comfort Suites another Choice Hotel. Go to Texas XXI website and they have a link to all the hotels used at the RGC.

RGC Traveler Pin Ride on Sundays will be announced.
March 26, Dinner ride to Slaton at Tejas 2150. Meet at Chisum’s at 4:30 PM and ride to Slaton. Be at the restaurant by 5:00 PM.
